our deacons

deacons

Our Deacons serve the Lord by conducting the caring ministry of the church-doing the benevolence work, being alert to the spiritual needs of the congregation-for the purposes of freeing the pastoral staff to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word, promoting unity within the church, and facilitating the spread of the gospel.

  • Dennis bronson

    member since 1983

Family Information: Wife- Deborah Cabral,  Daughters- Stephanie Walters & Samantha Bronson

Membership Involvement: Choir,  Church Treasurer,  Sunday  Prayer Partner, other various committees over the years at NLBC  I believed in Christ as my savior about the age of 13, but shortly after my parents stopped attending church and naturally I did also. It wasn’t until about 1990 when I took a course called “Master Life” that I began to grow spiritually. This is when the Word began to transform my mind and life to the glory of God.

I love the cross section of individuals we have at NLBC. As a church speaker for the Gideons I get to worship on Sunday mornings with several other churches. Sadly some have no children or youth and no racial diversity. I remember one day at work a Cambodian child came up to me and said, “You go to my church.” Indeed I do and would not want it any other way.
