Hearts of Love Meeting

Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00am

Hearts of Love is an ongoing ministry for the widows in our church. We normally meet on the second Saturday of each month. This month we will be meeting on the 16th at 11am and as we always do, we will have devotions and also discuss important issues facing those of us who have lost loved ones. It is our desire to encourage and strengthen each other as we adjust to life without our spouses and the lonliness that so often comes during these difficult times. Hearts of Love is also very active in preparing meals for families who have recently lost loved ones or others who are going through illnesses and recent surgeries. They also have a card ministry that focuses on the elderly and shutins in our church. On the 16th we will begin our preparations for making gift bags which we will take to our shut-ins at Christmas. All widows in the church are invited and encouraged to join us.

Please mark your calendar's and plan to be here with your whole family to be a part of this special time of worship that will set the tone for your whole Christmas season.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,

and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor,

Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.

He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,

establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness

from that time on and forever.

The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. (Isa. 9:2-7)
